Why Multifamily Mindset

Multifamily Mindset is legit. If you’re sitting in the workshop room, wondering if you should sign up for the mentorship program, read this.

I was once in your shoes. Frantically looking up reviews, looking up comparable companies and prices, and trying to figure out what that 40K commitment really does for you. I didn’t come up with squat!

As a research driven team, we wanted to confirm all the success stories. We wanted to make sure we weren’t getting scammed.

One month into the program and I can tell you, Multifamily Mindset is legit. Now, we haven’t closed a deal yet, but everyday, we are taking steps that bring us closer to achieving that goal. My knowledge of multifamily, network in real estate and educational resources have grown exponentially. I also want to highlight that this is a team that cares deeply about people - their want for you to succeed is massive and genuine.

What Am I Signing Up For?

4 Week Foundational:

Ever heard the phrase, I don’t know what I don’t know? I don’t have any real estate background, and I felt unsure of where to begin. There were too many things to learn and I didn’t know how to prioritize what was truly important. So, thank you 4 Week Foundational!

The 4 Week Foundational is a virtual course that walks you through Multifamily essentials. They begin with a lesson on goals and habits, take you through team building essentials, and walk you through the underwriting. To me, the most valuable takeaways from these lessons is the call scripts and underwriting template.

Rating: 4/5 stars

Fast Track:

The second piece the team pitches to you is the Fast Track program. It’s another weekend workshop where the MF Capital team takes you to properties for a walk-through and pushes you deeper into the underwriting process. I was only able to make the second day of the workshop, and while I didn’t feel like the walk through was that helpful, we frankly didn’t see much, the underwriting lesson was a helpful recap and the reinvigoration of motivation and the opportunity to network again was impactful.

Rating: 3/5 stars

Coaching:

We’re only one coaching meeting in, and I’m confident coaching is going to be one of the biggest benefits of this program. Our coach has a skilled background in real estate and a network to be jealous of. She has also had a toe dipped in education for most of her career. Her demonstrated credibility is something that will guide us through our entire deal process.

Multifamily Mindset is also a company that gives you life coaching. The “mindset” piece of the company doesn’t only focus on real estate. It focuses on helping you understand yourself and achieve your goals. In our meetings with our incredible coach, Amanda, she takes time to help us create success minded routines and holds us accountable to sticking with them. This accountability piece has been a key motivator whenever we get stuck, and let me tell you, Darius, having already founded two companies, and myself, starting my own blog, we’re motivated people.

Rating: 4.9/5 stars (because nothing is perfect)

The Network:

In my opinion, the most valuable part of the program is the network. As we learn from people who are actually engaged in the business, I’m reminded that every person has connections and the Multifamily Mindset team is happy to share those connections with you. Every workshop, we’re getting names of SSC attorneys and property managers to contact. Every workshop, we’re exchanging contact information for those beginning their journey and with deal makers who are potential sponsors and investors. This is a group that works with the best of the best. The connections we have to those more experienced than us have already saved us time and worry.

Other Benefits:

  • Access to other coaches, including an underwriting coach

  • Access to more educational video content

  • Facebook network

  • Access to market reports

  • Deals on companies that will help you set up your LLC, the right way!

Should I Sign Up?

I can’t answer that for you. I’ve laid out our experience in 2023, and if this sounds like a program that will help you accomplish your goals, maybe it’s worth signing up for. Note, we have no affiliation with MFM other than being a participant in their program. This is an honest review of our 2 month journey with the company in 2023.

If there is one thing I’ve learned, it is that this is a business that cares about helping people. We want to do the same, so please reach out to us if you have any questions. We’re busy trying to dive into our first deal, but we’re happy to make some time to answer a key question or two you might have about the program.
