The Turnpoint Mission
We’re in the real estate business to build communities. We recognize a need for connection, and focus on developing safe, modern, and connected multifamily neighborhoods.
Our mission is visionary, and on the ground level, it’s effective.
With a sense of connection being a key reason tenants stay, our investment in building a family atmosphere also serves our investors. Not only do tenants want to live in a space that gives them opportunity to expand their social network, strong communities have also proven effective in combating a key reason people move, “neighbors.”
We invest in spaces that have the potential to become real communities. With the underlying focus on community building, we see the value of our properties increase, tenant turnover decrease and applications grow exponentially. We become a space that people are excited about living in.
Our emphasis on community encourages unity, a sense of belonging, and purpose. Strong community shows you’re surrounded by people you can rely on. At Turnpoint Partners, we want all of our partners, tenants and investors to be confident they can rely on us.
We’re proud to leave our multifamily units more connected and our investors better off. Join us in our mission to bring people together while achieving financial freedom.
Imagine this…
My sister and I used to do Halloween with our neighbors. When we were younger, we’d do group costumes, flaunting superhero masks or princess dresses. In middle school, we still held hands walking through our building and spent the night trading our favorite candies. Thanksgiving always opened up time to host neighborhood friendsgiving. In December, putting out stockings on our doors for folks to help themselves to fresh baked cookies became a Christmas tradition. It wasn’t just special holidays that brought us all together. My mom used to tell me stories about growing up in her neighborhood. She knew the names of all her neighbors and was never afraid to knock on their doors. If she needed an egg to make us morning waffles, she would contemplate asking Mrs. Wess or Mr. Farina, and walk to our neighbors home to ask.
At Turnpoint Partners, we create opportunities for connection by hosting events, creating accessible huddle space and using technology to modernize communication between groups who call our building home.
Research shows…
I want to live in a space where I feel comfortable saying hi to my neighbors in the elevator and confident calling some friends. I hold a sense of responsibility for providing that same opportunity to others. And, the research shows there is an increased calling for this sense of connection. A 2022 study by CitySignal recognized that misalignment between property owners actions and tenant’s needs, can be detrimental. While owners were putting in top luxury features and technology, renters were asking for ways to expand their social network, volunteer and contribute to neighborhood improvement and proximity to local businesses. We focus on the network and neighborhood connection that 75% of renting participants called a priority.
“Renters with more than five close relationships in their neighborhood are one and a half times more likely to renew their leases. Tenants crave strong connections to their neighbors and community and are likely to continue living in the same unit as long as they feel that connection. Without a community and sense of belonging, renters will take their business elsewhere,” City Signal shares.
A sense of community can make property management an easier job. Additionally, neighbor issues is commonly labeled as a top reason why tenants move out of an apartment. When we build community ties, we increase respect for the space and each other. Other benefits include increasing well-being, safety, shared resources and greater savings. This can even lead to a more peaceful life, says Griffin Property.
